A little about myself...

My name is Chad Creighton. I am currently working and living here, in Westbrook, Maine with my partner Melissa, our two dogs, cat, two birds, and numerous fish. I am a graduate of Maine College of Art with a degree of printmaking. I grew up drawing out of field guides and catching frogs and salamanders in a small town in NH.
I started working on pallet wood a year ago and immediately fell in love with the material. The idea of giving new life to an old material is interesting to me. It has all these layers of detritus of where it came from, and contains all of this meaning of what it was; each scuff and crack another badge of honor.
