Once upon a time in Germany, 8-year-old me picked up a crochet hook for the very first time. My mission? Not a scarf. Not a hat. Nope—I was determined to crochet a sweatband for my beloved plush bunny, Hoppel. (He was a very active bunny, obviously.)
Fast forward through a few decades of on-and-off crocheting, and here I am—hook in hand, surrounded by a small army of squishy plushies! What started as a childhood hobby turned into my not-so-secret weapon for staying sane. Crochet became my therapy, my creative outlet, and honestly, my favorite way to procrastinate on chores.
Now, I pour my heart (and a bit of yarn fuzz) into every plushie and pattern I make. There’s nothing better than seeing someone’s eyes light up when they squeeze one of my handmade creations.
