♥ My way to handspinning ♥

I loved creating already as a child. I liked crocheting, and the idea that I can make whatever was fascinating me. From different colours and materials!

But as time went, I slowly stopped to crochet – I don´t know exactly why – maybe it was the puberty, maybe other hobbies… But when I finished my graduation on high school, my friend showed me crocheting again. And it hit me hard! I re-learned it immediately! I´ve started to sell my crochet stuff on markets, but still it wasn´t „it“.

In the first grade of university, I spontaneously decided to visit handspinning workshop. I wasn´t interested in some tradition skills and crafts, and I didn´t even think about handspinning as something „modern“. But when I saw all the modern and beautiful spinning wheels, all the handspun skeins and then finished products, I just… fell in love.

I´ve slowly started to learning how to spin and knowing materials, but I didn´t have much time with the school. I felt, that I need to be with spinning more – that if I quit it for some time „because of school“, I will never return to it. The academic style of life stopped to making me sense. I wans´t happy at all. I wanted to do what I love, so I stopped the school. I never regret it, so I know, that spinning and creating is the right way. That human hands can create incredible beautiful things. It gives me so much energy, and everytime I finish some skein, I´m filled with happiness ♥

Nowadays, you can find in the shop not only handspun yarns, but also my own handmade stitch markers for knitting or crocheting, few knitting designs and ceramic handmade buttons (oh yes I´m visiting ceramic sessions in our village - firstly it was "rehabilitaton" for my hands, but I´m a button addict as well :D).

I believe, that a bit of positive energy is in every single skein I make ♥
