Linda is a self-taught artist living quietly in Colorado. Since 2002 she has created her unique metal tree sculptures combining them with various minerals: agates, geodes, selenite, and other various semi-gemstones and gemstones. She relies on her study of geology, folklore and legends, and naturally occurring shapes and colors in the wilderness surrounding her home. She carefully selects compatible colors and stones thought to have special properties to bring a feeling of comfort and significance to each piece. Every sculpture Linda creates is hand-crafted one-of-a-kind three dimensional art. Collectors in several countries as well as in the USA have purchased Linda’s artwork.

What's with the Name "Crows Feathers"? In Native American folklore, the Crow is often associated with magic and change. Predominantly, bringing thought into physical form, transformation, the passing from one realm into another. The creations start much in the same way: first, a feeling/thought that slowly transforms into a physical form - a different reality/dimension (the artwork). The physical creative process begins with the purchase or found materials (copper wire, minerals, lamp bases, etc.). There are no molds used, no lost wax and nothing is outsourced.

There is a great deal of joy and peace in making these creations and simply delighted when customers tell how very touched they are by the way the artwork makes them feel when they touch it for the very first time. The Essence of Nature and Legends, however symbolic the artwork is for you, it is about bringing a little of peace and harmony into your home/office.
