Crucilore

Crucilore began with the simple conviction that Christians have inherited a world far richer than most of us realize.

I’m Josh, an artist with a love for church history, old stories, medieval art, and Christian symbolism. The name Crucilore joins "cruci", the cross, with "lore", the stories and traditions handed down to us. It reflects a conviction at the heart of my work... All of history is being shaped by and is unfolding under the reign of Christ.

Every Crucilore design begins as original artwork inspired by that inheritance. From the early Church and medieval Christendom to the Reformation and beyond, my goal is to create work that helps recover a Christian imagination shaped by history, beauty, courage, and faith.
This isn’t nostalgia for a world we can recreate. It’s about knowing what we inherited, recovering what we’ve forgotten, and creating something worthy of passing on.
