Can Cryptic Climbing do a custom hold order?

Absolutely. Just shoot me a message with what you are thinking regarding the holds and/or color you are wanting to customize. I am happy to work with you any way possible.

Can Cryptic Climbing handle a large batch order?

Yes. Each order, other than our overstock holds, are made to order for the customer. So, large batches would take longer to pour, sand, and inspect; but I can handle orders of any size. Just shoot me a message with any questions.

Warranty and Returns

I want you to be 100% happy with your rock climbing holds from us. If you aren't, contact me for a return or exchange. All holds come with a lifetime warranty against breaking and I would replace it if something were to happen. Our climbing holds are made with the highest grade polyurethan resin and every hold has a zinc or stainless steel washer to prevent damage.

Once you get your order, please take a look and see if anything isn't to your liking. Contact us right away and we will get it straightened out immediately. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions!

What does the texture of the holds feel like?

Unless otherwise stated in the listing, I prefer a semi-fine texture to all our holds. It is very similar to what you would find in a commercial gym, except maybe a touch finer. I have been climbing on these holds for a few years and this texture, in my opinion, gives my skin a break without sacrificing friction.

If I order bolts and screws with my order, what can I expect?

I will provide a 3/8" socket cap bolt with the proper length for a 3/4" plywood climbing wall. If you need additional accommodations (ie, thicker wall), let me know via an email or customer note. For climbing holds that have a set screw insert, I send #8 torque screws (1 3/4", unless a longer screw is needed).

Who is Cryptic Climbing?

Cryptic Climbing is a small rock climbing holds business located in Springfield, Missouri. I love the subtle but powerful movement that rock climbing brings out in us. The nuance of crimps and the buttery feeling of a sloper that I can't quite... grasp. Who doesn't love the feeling of desperately making a throw and landing on a monster jug! Well, I'm here to help create that on your home or gym rock climbing walls!

Each hold is shaped intentionally and with purpose. Some are subtle, some are obvious; but each is crafted to bring that feeling of "I sent my project" euphoria to your wall!
