Head to feet, ice or heat!
I have fond memories of learning to sew with my grandmother as a child, but as I grew up, sewing had become a distant memory. A few years ago, I received my sewing machine as a birthday present and started to re-learn my sewing skills. I quickly discovered that flannel is one of my favorite materials to handle - it is so soft and durable.
I started making corn bags for family and friends. I was surprised at how much everyone loved them! We all use them a little bit differently; I use them for headaches and to warm up my bed at night, my husband uses them for neck and back pain and my kids use them every night to cuddle while they fall asleep. Each night we all line up at the microwave for our cuddle kernel therapy!
Some of the things I love about Cuddle Kernels:
-The heat/chill lasts a LONG time - depending on the size of the bag, they can stay warm/cold for up to an hour.
-They are very durable - I have bags I have been using for years that are still going strong.
-The corn will not burn or scorch in the microwave (Once the bags have been heated hundreds of times, you may notice this happen due to age and repeated use).
-It is not made with popcorn, but with deer corn, so aside from the occasional stray pressure release pop, they will not pop.
-They have so many different uses, I recently started making horse bit warmers! the possibilities are endless!
- I love to do custom orders, if you can imagine it, I'll make it!
