Announcement    I AM ABLE TO ACCEPT A FEW MORE HALLOWEEN ORDERS ON A RUSH BASIS. JUST ASK!!!

I will be taking cusom orders for Christmas! Making some new aprons for both kiddos and adults and want to make some fun puppy clothes! Also want to make up the Elf and Jolie outfits...Hopefully time will allow that!! How about some adorable Christmas or Thanksgiving dresses or vests for your little ones?

I can always embroider names, etc on pretty much anything you would like!


UPDATE about my mama and daddy:

My sweet mama passed a couple of months ago and needed to move my 93 year old father in with me. What an adjustment! They were married 74 years. Unheard of these days.

After spending a month or two focusing on my family, I am in full swing for Halloween and the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas season.

I sincerely want to thank all of my customers who were patient with me during my mother's illness that took me away from my Etsy shop and sewing for many days and weeks during the Halloween rush. Although frail, I am beyond blessed and thankful that my 89 year old mother and 90 year old father are still with me.
After having been married for 72 years, their love is just as strong as it was at day one. They both require a ton of care and time, but finally have someone to help!

Because of her fall, surgery, dementia, etc., I was unable to get many orders processed and had to cancel and refund many orders. This made me so sad that I was unable to provide the type of customer service that I strive to provide.
There were days on end that I just couldn't get to any internet, answer emails or sew. On top of my absence, the delays with the postal service just worked against being the best Etsy shop that I could be. For that I am sincerely sorry. If you were affected by this, please accept my most heartfelt apology.

I love what I do and have been sewing since I was 8. My grandmother taught my mother, and my mother taught me. I am blessed to be able to pass that legacy down through the items that I make up for so many!!! I am humbled to be a small part of what are many milestones in my customers' lives. Many, forever imortalized, in photos that will be hung on walls, stored in albums or held closely in a wallet or purse. I had been selling on Etsy as Cupcake's Cottage since 2011 and have over 2,500 sales and hope that God continues to allow me to do so.
