Me esfuerzo por ser una mujer virtuosa, soy vendedora a tiempo completo en Etsy, estoy felizmente casada con mi maravilloso esposo Buster y soy la mamá de nuestro adorable Shih Tzu, Cooper. Pasamos 20 años en el Ejército, destinados en Oklahoma, Nueva York, Oregón, Washington, Georgia y Texas. Tan pronto como mi esposo se retiró del Ejército, nos despedimos del camión de mudanzas por última vez y regresamos a casa, a Spokane, Washington, donde ambos crecimos.
Vale, vale, ¿cómo me convertí en una adicta al papel? ¿Os acordáis de cuando coleccionábamos pegatinas? ¿Esos álbumes repletos de pegatinas que eran nuestro tesoro más preciado? Pues yo también los tenía, pero lo que de verdad me encantaba era mi caja de papeles de papelería con bonitos diseños. Podía pasarme horas mirándolos y eligiendo el perfecto para escribirle una nota a una amiga. ¿Os acordáis de esas notitas que nos pasábamos en clase, todas dobladas con tanto esmero? ¡Qué nostalgia!
Pero quizás te preguntes cómo empezó... En cuarto grado, mi amiga Lisa y yo tuvimos la brillante idea.
La idea era hacer tarjetas con cartulina doblada y dibujar con crayones para vender tarjetas navideñas a nuestros compañeros de clase. En 2007, mi suegra me regaló sellos y tinta para Navidad, ¡y de repente me puse a hacer tarjetas como una loca! Quería venderlas, pero en ese entonces ni siquiera conocía Etsy, así que la idea se fue diluyendo. Después de que nos destinaron a Georgia, retomé la creación de tarjetas y fue entonces cuando descubrí Etsy. He hecho tarjetas, invitaciones, artículos para eventos, etiquetas para recuerdos, banderines y pegatinas.
¡Más papel, por favor! Hace un año descubrí Stampin' Up! y, ¡por Dios!, ahora soy una completa adicta al papel (y a los sellos). Así que ahora estoy incorporando tarjetas a la tienda, de todo tipo: tarjetas impresas, tarjetas hechas con diferentes papeles, sellos y adornos, y tengo muchos planes más. Me encanta hacer etiquetas para regalos, pero mi pasión siempre han sido las tarjetas y la papelería, así que prepárense para ver un montón de novedades en mi tienda. ¿Dejaré de hacer etiquetas? Lo más probable es que no, porque, bueno, también son una adicción para mí.

I strive to be a Proverbs 31 woman, I'm a full time Etsy seller, happily married to my wonderful husband Buster, and fur baby Momma to our sweet little 🐶Shih Tzu Cooper.. We spent 20 years in the Army, and were stationed in OK, NY, OR, WA, GA, and TX. As soon as my husband retired from the Army, we waved goodbye🙋♀️ to the 🚚moving van one last time and headed back HOME to Spokane WA where we both grew up.
Okay, Okay, so how did I become a paper addict? Remember as a girl, all those stickers we collected? The sticker albums filled to the brim with stickers that were our prized possessions? Well, I had those, but what I really 💕loved💕 was my box of pretty patterned stationery papers. I would spend hours just looking at them and choosing just the right one to write a note to a friend. Remember those notes we passed in class that were all folded just so? Ahhh, nostalgia!
But how did it start, you may be wondering...In 4th grade, my friend Lisa and I had the brilliant
idea to make cards with folded construction paper and draw pictures with crayons to make Christmas cards to sell to our classmates. In 2007, my MIL bought me some stamps and ink pads for Christmas and BAM! I was off like a herd of 🐢turtles making cards. I wanted to sell my cards, but at that time hadn't even heard of Etsy yet, so it kind of fizzled out. After we got stationed in GA, I picked it back up again making cards and then found Etsy. I've done cards, invitations, event items, favor tags, banners, and stickers.
More paper, please! A year ago, I discovered StampinUp! and for the love of Pete, now I'm a full blown paper (and stamp) addict. So now I'm bringing cards into the shop, all kinds of cards - printed notecards, assembled cards made out of different papers, stamps and embellishments and I have plans for so much more. I ❤️❤️ doing favor tags, but my passion has always been cards and stationery, so get ready to see a ton of new cards and stationery in my shop. Will I quit or phase out the tags? Most likely NOT, cause well, those are an addiction to me as well.
