Leather fabricator and teacher
Our shop in Libau, Manitoba, proudly resides in Treaty 1 Territory—the traditional lands of the Cree, Oji-Cree, Dene, Dakota, and Anishinabek peoples, as well as the Homeland of the Métis Nation. We honor and deeply respect the history, land, and people of these areas.
We believe in fostering spaces for connection and collaboration, encouraging Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists alike to facilitate classes in our workshop. Together, we aim to create opportunities for learning and sharing in the spirit of reconciliation. By providing traditional materials and techniques, we empower artists to reclaim their cultural heritage and share their teachings with others.
Our story began over 25 years ago, rooted in a profound love for the craft and a passion for sharing it. This dedication to teaching and preserving the art of leatherworking remains at the heart of everything we do. Today, we are proud to work alongside a talented team of Métis, and other passionate instructors who share our commitment to keeping this beautiful tradition alive.
