Welcome, here’s a bit about me!
I’m Lexie, the artist behind 𝙲𝚞𝚝𝚎 𝙲𝚘𝚕𝚘𝚛 𝚂𝚝𝚞𝚍𝚒𝚘. I’m an Illustrator & Surface Pattern Designer. I’m a Christian, wife, & mom to 2 boys & a puppy. I love watercolors & am inspired by the cute things in life.

I specialize in hand-painted mixed media illustrations, primarily using watercolors, gouache, and colored pencils. My original artwork is digitized to create high-quality art prints, cards, & pattern designs. Every print is produced & fulfilled in my home studio, ensuring a personal touch & the highest quality.

As mentioned above, I love all the cute things in life. My work is centered on a deep appreciation for the small, charming details of life. I specialize in a "cute" aesthetic, drawing inspiration from many elements: playful patterns & colors, nature (animals, flowers, weather), nostalgia (vintage/retro items, oldies music), pop culture (Disney, Peanuts, Studio Ghibli), art, & themes inspired by family life & childhood wonder.

Music is my constant companion in the studio. Classic oldies, especially The Beatles, are my go-to, but I listen to modern stuff as well. The vibe of the art tends to dictate the playlist!
