Hello friends my name is Megan. My story goes something like this. Since I was a little girl my dream job was to be an artist! I wasn't sure what form of art that would be but being creative was always my "happy place"! Along the way of life, like a lot of us I got side tracked with adulting, raising children and all the speed bumps in between. In the last few years I found myself struggling more and more with depression, anxiety and simply feeling empty inside. Once I faced the reality I was living in I decided to make a much needed change! Being that we all spend more time working then doing anything else it was clear that the job thing had to change, and fast. This life we have is much too short to just get up, go to a job you hate, pay bills just to do it all again the next day! All the while having your dreams take a back seat to simply being a hobby! My soul wants to create and share my visions with other people to enjoy. It is such an honor for someone to use my displays to promote their own creations! I mean, come on- that is super cool! Being an artist is about expression and reveals ones personality to the world. So after getting to a breaking point of the proverbial “rat race”, I decided to take the leap to make my childhood dream a reality! Scary move- not gonna lie, but doing scary things are what make us stronger and freer!
I enjoy making all different kinds of creations jewelry, decor,displays, you name it! I love combining old with new-recycling leather,crystals,gems,beads,chains,
fabric...my eyes see things in objects that not everyone does. I am a huge lover of things that are or look old and have a story to tell. My style is a little bit western, a little bit bohemian, meets spiritual and time worn. I don’t like doing or wearing what everybody else does so I put my own spin on things. I don't make the same exact piece more then once because having special unique pieces is in celebration of each of you being special and unique!
