Mi nombre es Melissa y durante más de 2 décadas he estado cuidando a los miembros de mi familia. Algunos se quedan solo un rato y otros se quedan por años. Como saben, cuando las personas independientes y otras personas independientes viven juntas o se agregan niños, puede haber algo de estrés. Comencé a visitar tiendas de segunda mano para aliviar ese estrés y ansiedad y simplemente para escapar. Me encantaba mirar todos los tesoros y de vez en cuando rescataba uno que sabía que un amigo o familiar disfrutaría.

Ahora que soy mayor, me doy cuenta de que muchos de esos tesoros solo necesitan un poco de TLC y una buena limpieza para tener una segunda oportunidad. Comencé a rescatar más artículos y limpiarlos con la esperanza de que alguien los encontrara y quisiera apreciarlos durante muchos años. Obviamente, a alguien le encantaron estos artículos a la vez, por lo que son dignos de amor continuo. Es por eso que comencé mi tienda, DM Unique Treasures. Espero emparejar a las personas con su artículo vintage o hecho a mano perfecto que apreciarán durante años y pasarán como reliquias familiares.

Ahorrar y encontrar todas estas piezas se ha vuelto adictivo. Todos estos tesoros tienen sus propias historias. Si bien es posible que no conozca la mayoría de sus historias, sí sé que hay alguien por ahí que quiere encontrarlas y agregarlas a su hogar y colección.

My name is Melissa and for over 2 decades I have been taking care of family members. Some stay for just a little while and others stay for years. As you know, when independent people and other independent people live together or kids are added, there can be some stress. I started visiting thrift stores to ease that stress and anxiety and to just get away. I loved looking at all the treasures and every once and a while I would rescue one that I knew a friend or family member would enjoy.

Now that I am older, I realize that many of those treasures just need need some TLC and a good cleaning to get a second chance. I started to rescue more items and clean them up in hopes someone would find them and want to cherish them for many years to come. Obviously someone loved these items at one time so they are worthy of continued love. This is why I started my shop, DM Unique Treasures. I am hoping to pair people with their perfect vintage or handmade item that they will cherish for years and pass down as family heirlooms.

Thrifting and finding all these pieces has become addicting. All these treasures have their own stories. While I may not know most of their stories, I do know that there is someone out there who wants to find them and add them to their home and collection.
