Everything I create is inspired by my Nana Agnes. Though I was only able to spend a short amount of my childhood with her because Alzheimer's took her way too early, she is my inspiration every day. My Nana Agnes was a professional Weaver and artist. I remember when I was young and she would babysit me I would sit and watching her create beautiful things. Her craft was truly one-of-a-kind. I was in elementary school when I remember my mother telling me that she was sick, and watching her lose her talent, mind, self to the horrible disease broke my heart. Her spirit lives on in the amazing thing she created. It is been my mission to teach myself how to weave and every weaving I create inspired by her. I would've given anything to spend a day in my adulthood with her, learning from her and learning about her.
Weaving brings me so much joy. I feel that weaving is something I meant to do to honor her.

4 out of 5 starsLove these coasters, only issue I had was since my house doesn’t have AC my drinks develop a lot of condensation which made the coaster bubble up. It did disappear the next day, but you can see the mark of where the bubble was.
