Hola a todos, Rachel aquí! Mi padre disfruta de muchos pasatiempos: carpintería, fabricación de joyas, hacer un pastel de ron loco, por nombrar algunos. En algún momento, las piezas comenzaron a acumularse y mi madre decidió que necesitaba llevar sus talentos al mundo y salir de su sala de estar. Y debido a que a mi padre le gusta hacer cosas pero no disfruta vendiéndolas, ahí es donde entro para hacer de esta linda operación de padre e hija una realidad comercial. Fue algo fácil de decir que sí, ya que los cumplidos más frecuentes que recibo son en sus joyas y porque veo cuánto cuidado y consideración pone en cada diseño.
Dato curioso: mi padre originalmente quería llamar a la tienda 'Brian Makes Shit', pero Etsy dijo: "¡Oye! ¡Idioma!" así nació DadDoesDesign
Hi everyone, Rachel here! My dad enjoys many hobbies - woodworking, jewelry making, making an insane rum cake to name a few. At some point, the pieces started to pile up and my mom decided he needed to get his talents into the world and out of her living room. And because my dad likes making things but doesn't enjoy selling them, that's where I come in to make this cute father-daughter operation a business reality. It was an easy thing to say yes to since the most frequent compliments I get are on his jewelry and because I see how much care and consideration he puts into each design.
Fun fact: my dad originally wanted to call the shop 'Brian Makes Shit' but Etsy was like "Hey! Language!" so DadDoesDesign was born
