I make the part that should already exist.
I make parts that solve problems. That's the whole idea.
It started in my truck. My phone slid off the seat every time I turned, my headphones lived on the floor, and my tablet was propped up against a coffee cup. I went looking for parts to fix it and either couldn't find them or found something that cost way more than it was worth. So I made my own.
Once you can design and print a part, you stop accepting that a problem has no fix. Now I make all kinds of things: mounts, hooks, organizers, holders, brackets, and ideas that don't fit a category at all. Some are for vehicles. Some are for a desk, a shop, a garage, or a spot in the house where something needs to stay put. The common thread is that each one exists because something was annoying and nothing on the market solved it.
How things get made
Every design starts as a real problem, not a product idea. I draw it up, print it, fit it, and live with it for a while. I check the fit, the finish, and how it holds up in normal use. If it doesn't sit right, it goes back on the bench. The ones that pass are the ones you see listed. By the time something is for sale here, the hard part is done. You're buying a finished part, not a prototype.
The lineup moves
I'm always designing, so what's in the shop changes. If you like the way I go at problems, follow the shop and check back.
What I'm working on
Right now I'm developing a key fob auto-locker that keeps your fob secure and shielded when you're not using it. Same reason as everything else in here: it's a problem I wanted solved.
On the vehicle products, please read
Anything I make for a vehicle is an organization and convenience product meant for use in a parked, stationary vehicle. These are not safety equipment and they are not designed, tested, or rated for use while a vehicle is in motion. Don't load, adjust, or reach for them while driving, and don't mount anything where it blocks your view, your controls, or an airbag. Make sure your setup is legal where you live before you install it.
Bulk and wholesale
If you run a fleet, a dealership, a shop, or a store, I do volume orders on anything you see here. Message me with the product, how many you need, and your timeline, and I'll get you pricing. Production runs are the work I'm set up for. I don't take one-off custom design jobs.
About the name
Protect and Assist is my LLC. Besides the parts I make here, it covers the work I do in senior safety and protection technology.
