The adventures of Daisy Cutter
Daisy cutter has been performing burlesque since 2006 and been a costume, clothing and accessory maker since gaining her first qualifications in 2001. A skilled pattern cutter, milliner and knit specialist. Winner of best designer 2010 at Leeds retail awards as well as designing and making the national costume for Miss Leeds who went on to win Miss University world in Korea wearing that very outfit.
With various qualifications and lots of industry work under her belt, she went on to graduate Costume with textiles in 2010, basing her final major on Gypsy Rose Lee and interviewing Gypsy's son, Erik Lee Preminger for her dissertation.
She has concessions of her work in various outlets and boutiques, as well as undertaking bespoke commissions, ranging from full silk and Swarovski gowns, couture corsetry to customizing pre-bought items.
As a burlesque performer herself, she specialises in this field of costume and so, knows what is required of quick change and easily removable garments.
