My life is pretty hectic right now. I'm a full time grandma so silversmithing often takes a back seat these days. My husband is retired and we live out in the country. We have some pretty interesting wildlife that comes thru our yard. The crows I'm especially fond of , they watch for me to bring bread scraps out for them. Then I hear them cawing to alert the others that their meal has arrived. I especially admire there intelligence. Deer, bunnies ,skunks, wild turkeys, hawks are also frequent visitors.

That little cutie in the shop pic with me is Lily my Savannah. We also have Mia, Clyde, Dara and Plyllo. This group contains gifted shop cats and well as extremely talented mousers. The girls are the best mouse catchers. I've recently lost Vince, my ever so handsome tuxedo cat who had a heart condition and passed away in April. I volunteer at a local cat shelter where I help with cleaning crew as well as medication when I have time.

I teach Pilates and I'm a certified Barreabove fitness instructor...currently working part-time.

** Recommended cleaning of my jewelry is with a silver polishing cloth only (especially important for turquoise)....this is the safest and best cleaning method...for the finish and the cabochons. A damp soft cloth can remove dirt or residue that a silver polishing cloth may leave behind. Never immerse them in a ultrasonic jewelry cleaner or drop them into a jewelry cleaning solution(can destroy a finish). The solution in an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner can become very hot which can damage a stone or the finish on a cab. The vibrations of the ultra sonic can also loosen stones or crack them.
