5 out of 5 starsEasy to follow pattern. The first round of the border I wish I would've done in HDC instead of SC - it was difficult to find the third back loop of the SC, but once I did that round, the rest of the rounds went very smoothly.

Thank you Renee so much for your feedback! Agh yes, I toyed with writing that first round in hdc, but since I made the original baby blanket with a first round of sc, I left it in the pattern... But moving forward all my camel stitch borders begin with a round of hdc! Appreciate your review, thank you again. 😊

5 out of 5 starsFinally, a pattern that suits the olive color yarn...I must have (at one time-scooped up a great deal) but this pattern is very attractive ...The pattern seems easy enough to follow and offering the tutorials is so re-assuring Thank you

Ooh I wonder if you and I both got the great deal on this yarn when JoAnn closed?? I picked up a couple skeins at 70% off last year! I love the olive green color. 💚 But I miss JoAnn's! Anyway I'm so glad the pattern seems approachable! Please reach out if you need any help, and in the meantime happy crocheting! 😊

5 out of 5 starsI needed a hoarder for a baby blanket and used one from this pattern book after seeing the designer do an education video on a crochet summit I watched this year. Eventually I may make the blankets as well. But for now I bought it for the lacy boarders. Easy to understand how to fit it onto a different blanket. I will purchase more patterns in the future.

Anjonette, thank you so much for this review! I'm so thrilled you watched the border presentation and that the instructions were clear when you put one of these lacy borders on a blanket!! Yay! I'm working on another design with the lacy border now, so this review is timed nicely. I'm encouraged! Thank you for the feedback!

5 out of 5 starsEasy to follow pattern. I love that she included a video link on how to carry the yarn up the side. That was a new skill for me.

Ahh thank you Angie for your review! Yes, I LOVE carrying the yarn up for fewer ends to weave in! I'm working on a new design now featuring this technique. Love it. So glad you got to discover it! Happy crocheting!

5 out of 5 starsThe texture of this pattern caught my eye, better yet a simple repeat ( at a glance anyway) once you get the hang of it. A video tutorial and images are included so this will help with stitch placement. Really looking forward to starting this blanket.

Oh yay I'm so glad you like the texture! Me too! 😄 Yes, so simple! I hope you enjoy this pattern!!

5 out of 5 starsNice color combo! I was wondering how to use up this olive green. This really caught my eye. I haven't started it yet, but have "studied" the pattern ,very well written, and love tutorials Thanks for the inspiration

Yay thank you for the sweet words about the colors and the pattern! I worked hard on those sections about weaving in the long chain strands to get that plaid effect, so I appreciate the positive feedback! Best of luck on the pattern and please reach out if you need anything! Happy crocheting!
