Hi! I'm Shawna, owner and director of Footnotes Dance Studio.
For nearly 20 years, I've been running a successful dance studio and creating systems, forms, and resources to help keep our families informed and our programs organized. Like most studio owners, we've tried countless ideas over the years—some worked, some didn't—but the resources you'll find here are the ones that have proven successful in our studio.
Communication is one of the biggest challenges dance studios face. Parents are busy, information gets lost, and important dates can easily be forgotten. That's why I began creating simple, organized templates that put everything families need in one place.
Our Recital Information Sheets have become one of our most valuable communication tools. By keeping important recital details on a single page, parents always know where to find schedules, deadlines, ticket information, and other important event details.
My goal is to save fellow studio owners time, reduce stress, and provide resources that have been tested and refined in a real dance studio environment.
