DancheongStudio is a small studio in Seoul. Dancheong is the painted ornament on Korea's palaces and temples: layered bands of lotus, clouds, taegeuk and auspicious characters in mineral pigments.
Most of that heritage sits in public archives as scans that are hard to use in real design work. We take motifs from the Korea Heritage Service and the Culture Portal (released under Korea's open government license), rebuild each one as a clean vector, remove the noise, and turn them into things designers can use right away: editable SVG and AI files, transparent PNG clipart, recolored palettes and seamless repeat tiles.
Every pack ships with a commercial-use license and attribution text. If you need a motif or colorway that is not here, send a message. New sets are added every week.
