Il mio illustrator analogico!
👉🏼I started about 10 years ago making jewelry. I liked the idea of being able to create cutouts that would otherwise have been thrown away. I started because it wasn't a good time in my life and I needed to relax, distracting my mind from worries by taking care of a simple task, such as rolling up strips of paper. From this moment I have never abandoned paper again, it has become a constant, daily⌛ presence It has not always been a simple relationship, there have been times when I hated it a little, but I have always been faithful to it until the day when there was an evolution: in 2018 I was attending a graphics course, during which I learned to use Adobe Illustrator. It was at that moment that I started using paper strips to make drawings on a flat surface. I thought, "This is my analog Illustrator!" 💗 That graphics course, I didn't even want to do it, but instead it changed my way of seeing, it opened up new possibilities for me, and it was incredible what I was able to do from that moment on!
👉🏼Ho iniziato circa 10 anni fa realizzando gioielli. Mi piaceva l’idea di poter dare vita a dei ritagli che altrimenti sarebbero andati gettati via. Ho iniziato perché non era un bel momento della mia vita e avevo bisogno di rilassarmi, distraendo la mente dalle preoccupazioni occupandomi di un compito semplice, come quello di arrotolare striscioline di carta. Da questo momento la carta non l’ho mai più abbandonata, è diventata una presenza costante, quotidiana⌛ Non è stato sempre un rapporto semplice, ci sono stati momenti in cui un po' l’ho odiata, ma le sono sempre stata fedele sino ad arrivare al giorno in cui c’è stata un evoluzione: nel 2018 stavo frequentando un corso di grafica, durante il quale imparavo ad utilizzare Adobe Illustrator. E’ stato in quel momento che ho iniziato ad utilizzare le strisce di carta per realizzare dei disegni su una supeficie piana. Pensai “Questo è il mio Illustrator analogico!”💗 Quel corso di grafica, nemmeno volevo farlo, ed invece ha cambiato il mio modo di vedere, mi ha aperto nuove possibilità, ed è stato incredibile ciò che sono riuscita a fare da quel momento in poi!
