DaniDesignsCo--All Because I Didn't Want Three Little Boys Banging Blinds on My French Doors

DaniDesignsCo began when I designed the French Door Curtain all because I didn't want my three little boys banging blinds on my French Doors every time they slammed the door. I wanted a covering that didn't require any holes to be put in the door--so I used an adhesive Velcro. After making my own French Door Curtains, I had neighbors start asking for them. I decided that if I liked the curtains and my neighbors like the curtains, maybe other people in the world would too. So I presented to Waverly in New York City and they liked the curtains! They licensed the product from me and sold to JC Penney for many years. My son and I then started our own online business, which is when I started designing new patterns and creating and patenting new products. We literally started in the basement with every single person in my family working with some part of the business at one time or another. My favorite part of my job is presenting new ideas to people and companies and watching their eyes light up with excitement. I also love reading fabulous reviews from our great customers.
