On October 20, I ordered a set of keycaps from Datamancer. When I ordered them, the expected delivery dates were October 22 to November 1. My order didn't arrive until November 10 and a bad review. However, the quality of the new keycaps are very high. They changed the feel of the keyboard to be more smooth and more playful. They add a steampunk feel to everything I type!

GREAT INVESTMENT. Pros = 1. Fits Quirkywriter ok AND more keycaps than Quirkywriter, so you can treat these "extras" as spares 2. With care the keycaps can be dismantled. You can replace the paper behind the plastic top layer with your own designs, so customizable! 3. Quality seems great for the price. No complaints about that. Cons = 1. PLEASE NOTE that the keycaps are a smaller diameter than the original on Quirkywriter. As a result, the blue switches seemed much more visible. I ended up using a sharpie to blacken them. If you have a Quirkywriter, seriously consider doing that while you are actually changing the keycaps. 2. Delivery took quite a lot longer than expected and responses to questions were friendly and helpful BUT slow. Hopefully the delays were just a one-off thing due to the current COVID situation.

Never got my item. Seller was unresponsive. Do not order from them.

Just an honest review. The key caps are misleading. It is NOT an all metal design. It is all plastic except the metal ring encasing the key cap. Second, it is very important to note that most if not all keyboards for cherry mx require you to make the stems taller from top to bottom or else you will end up with uphill gradient from function keys down the rows to the space bar. This makes touch typing practically impossible because elevation of the keys play a massive role in muscle memory. It feels like you're typing down hill and kills the natural arch in your wrist when typing. I also ran into a key issue with my space bar. The parameters for the cherry mx '+' female slot on the key was too wide for the typical keycap by cherry mx standards. It is very beautiful, but certainly not worth 130 dollars, maybe 20.

It is my second datamancer keyboard. Had one for home and now have one for work. I love them. Incredible quality. Work of art. Thank you.

I love these so much!!! I wish I could get the space bars for my Alice layout, but everything else is perfect!

Wonderful quality and performance, the seller even did a German keyboard based on my ordering location! If I had any feedback it would be that the communication was on a significant lag.

Item arrived later than expected but I love the keyboard.
