Privacy Policy – Dayse Studio (Digital Downloads)

This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, and share information when you purchase a digital item from my shop, contact me, or otherwise use my services through Etsy.com and its related sites and services.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control, including Etsy. You can review Etsy’s Privacy Policy to learn more about Etsy’s privacy practices.

1) Personal information I collect

To fulfill your order, Etsy provides me with certain information (which you authorized Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, email address, and details of the product you ordered. I may also receive your billing and/or shipping address, although this shop sells digital downloads only and no physical item is shipped.

If you contact me through Etsy messages, I will also receive the information you choose to share in your message.

I do not receive your full payment details (such as credit card numbers). Payments are processed by Etsy and/or Etsy’s payment providers.

2) Why I need your information and how I use it (legal bases)

I rely on the following legal bases to collect and use your personal information:
• To provide my services (contractual necessity): to provide access to your digital purchase, respond to messages, and provide customer support.
• To comply with legal obligations: to comply with tax, accounting, and other legal requirements.
• Legitimate interests: to improve my shop and services (for example, by reviewing shop performance), provided those interests are not overridden by your rights or interests.

3) Sharing and disclosure of information

I share your information only for limited reasons and in limited circumstances:
• Etsy: I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide my services and comply with my obligations under Etsy’s Seller Policy and Terms of Use.
• Service providers (if applicable): Some products may include templates accessed via third-party tools (for example, Canva). When you use third-party services, you do so under your own account and subject to their privacy policies. I do not receive your login credentials.
• Legal compliance: I may disclose your information if required by law, a court order, or in connection with a legal claim, or if necessary to prevent fraud or address security issues.

4) Data retention

I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide my services and as described in this policy. I may also be required to retain certain information to comply with legal and tax/accounting obligations. I typically keep this information for up to 7 years.

Etsy and certain service providers may store and process personal information outside the EU. Where such transfers occur, they are handled by those platforms in accordance with their privacy practices and applicable transfer mechanisms (for example, Standard Contractual Clauses).
