Love what you do, be a Busy Bee!
My name, Debbie, means "Busy as a Bee" and that is exactly what I am. I used to have so many interests, and with all my moving around, I had to downsize. I kept what I really love to do which is quilting, cross stitching and crocheting. Sewing was something I did all my life from little on. My mother was a professional seamstress or tailor, and taught me her tricks of the trade on how to pay attention to detail. My grandmother taught me how to embroider and this brought us closer together. I remember sewing all those feedsack dishtowels and I still do that to this day.
I am recently retired from my alterations business, so now I am downsizing on most of my sewing and crafting items. My other Etsy store, BusyBeeButtonsNBows has all the buttons plus doll clothes I make. I've recently added some vintage fabric and laces.
In my "spare" time I make as many things as I can to put in my shop. This has been an adventure and I intend to keep it going as long as I am able.
