What types of metals do you use for earring backs?
Whenever possible I try and use premium fasteners and hooks. Usually, earring backs are nickel free, gold or silver plated. I will make a special note in the description if hypoallergenic stainless steel. In the item descriptions, I also try and list the metals/stones used. For some of the charms, especially when a piece of vintage jewelry, it can be difficult to tell.
Where do you find your materials?
All over the place: garage/estate sales, eBay, antique stores, and shopping in the mall.
Do your products come from a smoke-free and/or pet-free environment?
All my products come from a smoke-free home.
I do own a hypoallergenic maltipoo dog, but I keep my jewelry making out of his reach.
Are you committed to sustainability?
Yes! Most of my materials come from repurposing and up-cycling vintage pieces of jewelry or other creative items. I reuse chains, clasps, and bead/charm components whenever possible. I also reuse packaging materials.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, I am unable to ship items outside the United States.
Gift wrapping and packaging
I do offer gift wrapping. Gift wrapping includes a colored organza bag and box with tag.
Standard packaging includes the item wrapped in protective materials such as recycled bubble wrap or paper. I usually ship in bubble mailer envelopes.
