When I started out at first, I was making very special, one of a kind pieces of jewellery... and I was miles away from imagining I would ever continue my path with magnets ! It is funny to see where life takes you for your own good and self-development. Although what is sure in common in both avenues is that I have always wanted to create daring, modern and unique items, like a gift you know there is one person to be destined to, and you also know from the start how they'll react when receiving it (heart blossom ! ).

Before setting up my enterprise, I did glasswork too while working in a glass studio, which actually helped me out realizing I needed some space of my own for growing and materializing all the thoughts of creation bubbling inside of me !
I made lamps and other small items for the home as I find it to be the best place where happiness and well-being can be infused, with very personalized hues of both beauty and organization.

The thought grew on me, and it felt increasingly obvious that the most personalizable item in a house is a picture frame. You know, each photo tells a story, is a reminder of a moment you want to hold dear, or that makes you smile. We all have treasures that we kind of need to see anytime some boost is required ("yes I can do it, I once did and I will !" - yes, that kind of boost ! ). And building on this trend of mind, I made up my own picture frames, with steel that I brush for a particular shiny effect and then varnish for metal protection. And at the same time, since it is a keeper, the idea of attraction reached out to me ! What about magnets to hold the picture onto place ? And to allow for a change of landscape whenever needed too? In a blink of an eye, you get to change both magnets and picture if so desired ! So I took the time and had tremendous fun crafting magnets and casting them in pewter for the front, and then paste them onto rare earth magnets (neodyniums) for the back.

And those magnets accompanying those memories are also a token of the personality of that dear friend you once offered it to, or your mum, you know she is fond of those rhinestone flowers, or you, 'cause each year you treat yourself to a new package of those funky animals (we have over 160 sorts, yes, choice happens to be competitive though funny at times and you know that ! )... They also adequately work for the fridge and had the perfect decorative and pratical touch.

The attractive power of the magnet world made it feel like the creative potential is infinite, and each year I am able to come up with new crafty ideas for the home (and there invariably is a magnetic touch to them ! ) : chalkboards, necklace holders, keychains and key holders, book recipe and file holders, mini office and kitchen organizer, etc. I feel lucky the world opened so much to me when setting up my own business; I now have a huge workshop and a full-time team to help me out surfing this wave of creation and help provide me with balance, lucidity and hope.

I love meeting people and sense how my work has actually helped and still can help them with making their home decor resemble their own selves, providing them with hints to better organize the place or find a suitable gift for their family, teacher or friends.
