Tiny Beads, Big Ideas
It all started with wanting to create a unique mothers day gift for my own mom. Who knew that single pink rose would grow into a passion for beaded flowers. At first it was something to keep myself busy while watching tv or at work while on phone calls (I'm an obsessive multitasker). Then I started to see others ooh and aah over the tiny little creations and to my surprise, they wanted buy them!
The first rose wasn't easy, I've done jewelry before but weaving tiny little seed beads to actually look like something was a whole new ball game. After the first I then did another and another until I had it down pat. My mother ended up with a dozen of pink roses, still has them to this day! I researched the art of beaded flowers and became more and more interested in expanding the ways I could utilize these delicate flowers.
After building quite a few different products I wanted to reach a larger circle by creating a shop on Etsy, as recommended by many friends who have done so and succeeded. It then slowly evolved to doing craft shows and the rest is history.
I love to see and hear people enjoy my creations. I also love to hear when they have worn their purchases to extra special events. I hope to continue this momentum for many years to come.
