♡ Art Enchanted by Nature ♡

I do hope you will enjoy following my work as I share with you my total love of nature ♡
I am an artist of too many years to contemplate(!) much of which I worked on as a commissioned artist.
I love to get out on long walks, either by the river, across heathland or through the woods, there is always so much to see. No two walks by the river are the same with all the different birds I see!
I find that walking very therapeutic and being out and about in nature so very healing ♡
Creating artwork from my photos, sketches and memories brings nature into the home which can lift your spirits and put a real smile on your face.
I started to count how many birds there were in my village and paint pictures of them as I went. The numbers started creeping up and up. I was astonished how many I'd seen and quite how colourful they all are. From dazzling Kingfishers, to Yellowhammers, beautiful Bullfinches to tiny Goldcrests I just had to paint them! But as I painted, I spotted more! I kept painting and painting and never got to the end of my list! I am currently at just over 50 paintings but have now counted over 80 different birds just in my village! We are so very blessed to have so many different beautiful birds in our country.
I am also working on flora, fauna and all the tiny bugs we have too!
