A Maker at Heart
My first true passion in life was art. As soon as I could hold a crayon I was coloring non stop. I took private art lessons at a very young age and learned to paint. I focused on art in school and continued to take classes throughout my early years leading to a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of Delaware. I majored in Visual Communications with a concentration in Advertising Design. Currently I work as an Associate Creative Director and run my Etsy Design Shop in my free time. I love making/designing anything and especially using my hands. Nothing excites me more than a delighted customer or seeing a smile on someone's face when I create something special for them.
My shop is dedicated in memory of my Mother, Kathy Deeringer, who I lost suddenly in the spring of 2020 at the young age of 59 years old. My Mom was my very first Etsy customer. She always encouraged me to follow my dreams and helped me with countless art projects over the years. <3
