Dena DNA is the brand of licensed and board certified genetic counselor, Dena Goldberg Linder. Originally from the Chicago area, Dena attended the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana where she worked in a Molecular Anthropology lab studying ancestral genetics. After graduation, Dena moved out west to San Francisco to work in a Breast Cancer research lab at UCSF, but soon realized that she preferred working with people in a clinical setting. So, she attended the Genetic Counseling Graduate program at UC Irvine. Dena now lives in San Francisco, CA and works in the UCSF Cancer Genetics and Prevention Program.
Dena DNA's mission is to spread awareness of medical genetics and genetic counseling to the general public through media and marketing techniques not typically used by the medical community. Dena wrote her thesis on the awareness of genetic counseling services, so she started Dena DNA as a creative outlet while simultaneously spreading awareness. She hopes to inspire the next generation of genetics professionals by making genetics fun!

Only comment, I did size up from the measurements because I like things a little loose. Measured a Medium but bought a large because these skater skirts are a little tricky on sizing I learned, Different artisian, Iast year I ordered a large and way too big.
