Creative Spirit
I was told a long time ago to find something I love doing between meetings. DOS 8/23/1979
Nothing beats experience. I learned my trade by apprenticing for great Art Directors in Book publishing since my dad was famous in advertising. There was no nepotism in our family. I worked in book publishing designing books for The Franklin Library, a division of the Franklin Mint. Hit bottom in Doraville GA and slowly found my creative niche with computer art for a printing company in Mt. Kisco, NY. Being an active member of the fellowship I was introduce to GSO to later design a catalog, three books and three Grapevine Magazines. Even was one of the designers that was chosen to redesign that AA Grapevine.
I had a stroke in 2013 and I'm attempting to make this shop a working part of my retirement Please pass the information on to others if you would. I also have another shop where I sell collectable marble eggs and books. Some of the books are from my design period at The Franklin Library. Check it out.
