The Design Tees Story
We are two brothers who faced a problem in the winter of 2023. We wanted to support ourselves as we found ourselves very lost financially. After much brainstorming, Design Tees Central was born.
The name itself was initially just a practical placeholder—formulated in a moment of urgency when we had no time for squabbling over the perfect name. But over time, it grew on us, and now we've grown quite fond of it.
One of us has a background in graphic design and art, while the other has experience in data and tech. It was a perfect combination for fostering creativity and running a business.
As for what to create, funniness runs in the family, so making shirt designs that bring a chuckle to anyone who sees them became our MO.
As our small business grew, we made sure to keep customer satisfaction a top priority. We seek human interaction during a time when corporate greed is creating faceless entities that lack the soul of a person who cares. We strive to keep our prices low yet keep the highest standards for quality. And if anything goes wrong (as it sometimes does), we make sure to go above and beyond to make things right. And that's a creed we both stand by.
To keep our hearts in the right direction, we pledged 10% of our profits to a high-impact charity at the end of the year. We didn't start this business to extract as much money as possible from our customers. We started it to help our parents, and we think this commitment aligns with our mission: to bring joy and laughter into the world.
