As a woman-owned business, championing women is so critical. (pictured: Hedy Lamarr, the mother of WiFi)
Every year, I create a Galendar chock-full of glamorous gals gracing every month.
While it's perfectly lovely to appreciate a vintage aesthetic, let's toss out those vintage values.
I delight in drawing folks with their loved ones (and a fur baby or two)! I offer commissions every few months.

Who Is Shea?

Hi There!

I'm Shea. Growing up with an artist for a grandmother got my creative juices flowing at an early age. Whether we were finger-painting pillowcases, watercoloring on a wharf, or folding napkins at the dinner table, I loved every minute of it — and haven’t stopped since.

If anyone in my family ever asked, “Where’s Shea?” the answer was generally, “In her room, drawing.” I could spend hours on end mimicking magazine pictures to practice figure drawing, and I was always the kid asked to sign yearbooks in a “cool” font. I’ve admired design and illustration before I even knew their names.

Designed By Shea is my passion project. It's an opportunity to step out on a whim and share my illustrations. I've delighted in creating all of the art you see in the shop, and it's a joy to share that happiness with you.
