The item itself is beautiful. It does exactly what I need it to, and it fits beautifully over my knobby knuckles while still remaining secure around the finger. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I found the packing to be excessive. It was in a plastic mailer envelope, inside of tape-covered bubble wrap, inside of a plastic box and wrapped in paper. As someone who is buying a ring splint because my joints tend to fail me, opening it was more complicated than it needed to be.
