What is the current processing time?

Current processing time is only one week ... yay!

Larger orders may have longer processing times dependent on number of items ordered.

How and where do I send photos?

After placing your order, you can send your photos to the email address that is listed on your Etsy receipt. Please send photos in .jpg format (ZIP files are appreciated).

You may also use services such as Dropbox to send photos.



How many photos should I send?

Twelve (12) photos for the border of the frame, plus one more photo for the center (13 total photos). I can use less photos, but typically not more photos.

If you would prefer a message or quote in the center of the frame, you only need to send 12.

Does personalization cost extra?

Personalization is included with your purchase. It is limited to the type and amount of personalization that is shown in the sample listing that you purchase.

Any additional personalization may be subject to additional fees. If you have any questions, please convo us prior to placing your order.

How long does shipping usually take?

All orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail, which includes tracking and insurance. Estimated shipping time in the United States is 1-3 business days.

Will photos of my frame be used as samples in your Etsy shop?

I respect my client’s privacy, and will never use your personal photos or photos of your personalized frames or keepsake boxes without your express permission.

Where should I direct questions or concerns?

Please submit any questions, special instructions or other communication via Etsy convos ONLY.

Etsy's convo feature allows for the most timely, complete and accurate records of conversations with my customers and is the best way to contact me.

I will confirm receipt of photos, forward rough layouts for your approval, and send shipping notifications via Etsy convo’s.

Care instructions

I use an acrylic non-yellowing protective spray sealer as a finishing touch to all of my frames. You can use a very small amount of water on a soft cloth to wipe the frame and clean the glass if needed.

I recommend avoiding areas of high moisture 💦or humidity.

What makes Designs By Picture This different than competitors?

My shop has been a passion project for me since first opening in 2011. We were the first to create and offer these unique custom photo collage picture frames on Etsy.

I want to feel fabulous about each and every creation that leaves my care and finds its way to you! I have no interest in churning out orders or mass production. I really enjoy spending time communicating with customers and working together until we've created exactly what you had in mind.

You may occasionally find my shop temporarily on "Vacation Mode". This could actually mean that I'm on vacation🌴but it's more likely that orders were coming in too quickly and I needed to slow things down a bit. l would much rather put my shop on hold than rush through this process.
