Joy in the Journey
Hello and Welcome to Designs On The Go! I wanted to take a moment to introduce you to myself and fill you in on my “why”. My name is Jennifer and I am married to my husband, Philip, and have 4 beautiful little girls ages 6, 4, 2, and 9 months. My husband and I have always LOVED traveling, we would travel any chance we got even if it was only a night away or even if it was to a place we had been 10 times already. We just wanted to go on adventures. Last spring we heard about this thing called mobile living. Basically its where a family or anyone really chooses to sell everything, move into an RV motorhome or trailer and just travel. We were like oh my gosh that would be SO perfect for us! The adventures we could go on, the things we could see, the experiences we could give our children, how wonderful would that be?!? Well for us it was just a far off dream, because with four kids there are just lots of bills and stuff and well any of you with children would know what I am talking about. We were the average family where my husband went to work 8-5 and made enough to get us by and that was it. So this past summer I decided to give my Etsy shop one last try. You see I had done Etsy before and just never succeeded with it for various reasons but mostly it was just hard to stand out above the rest. So this time I decided I would try a store that made marketing materials for Independent Consultants. Well and thanks to all of you my store has been a big hit! So since the summer my family and I have been able to make some big and incredibly exciting changes! First we purchased our first RV Trailer, next my husband was able to quit his job and then next we are going to be selling our house and setting off on an adventure of a lifetime!! You heard me right! Thanks to you, to ALL OF YOU we are going to be going out and living our dream! My family and I could not be more thankful of ALL of you! Thank you for supporting our small business and allowing us to have a job that gives us the flexibility to be mobile and travel and do what we LOVE! One last quick note all of this is how I came up with the name Designs On The Go, not only is it a place where you can get designs fast and efficiently but I will literally be designing on the go ☺ Thank you for stopping by, thank you for reading my story, and thank you for supporting our small business!
