About Designs With Sass
Designs With Sass is a small, graphic design business, locally owned and operated in Calvert County, Southern Maryland. My favorite items to design are bridal shower, baby shower and birthday invitations, along with re-usable activity mats for kids.
For years I've been designing photo posters and party invitations for friends and family, but it wasn't until recently that I decided to sell my work online.
Faith, family and graphic design are my three greatest passions in life. Thankfully, I can combine all of these elements in my work. Divided up in my shop are different sections featuring various categories of which I love to design.
In the area of Faith, I've created Inspirational and Encouraging Scripture Verse Postcards. Reading these uplifting verses keeps me going when my soul grows weary. I know I'm not the only one who needs a bit of encouragement from time to time, so I figured others could be blessed by an uplifting word—when a loved one sends them a reminder via postcard.
The second most important area of my life is my Family (and friends, too). For the past few years, I've created Photo Collage Posters for different loved ones in my life. My subject matter has varied from old photos of my grandparents to more recent ones of our family vacation at the beach. These gifts are always well received—and sometimes even bring a few tears to the eyes of my recipients. Its designs like these that keep our most cherished memories at the forefront of our minds and hearts. They're also some of my most favorite works to create.
The third most important area in my life is my passion for Design. I can't say enough how blessed I am to go to a job feeling joyful every morning. No amount of money can compare to being in a career that you truly love. Because of my passion for people, I love to design pieces like a friend's Baby/Bridal Shower Invitation, a small business owner's Marketing Brochure or an up-and-coming author's eBook Cover. I want to help people succeed, and part of that is helping their event, business or personal dreams stand out from the rest.
We live in a "take it at face-value" society. It's my goal to not only make myself look good, but to make you look better. I want whatever project I design for you to stop people in their tracks and make them smile.
