I started making jewelry way back in middle school when friendship bracelets were all the rage. Me and my best friend were so good at it we started selling them at lunch, doing custom orders and adding our own flair with charms and crystals.
I used my creative side to deal with a lot of health issues while growing up. I was in and out of school and had a lot of trips to the hospital. Every day recovering at home I took the time to try every craft I could. By the time I had my liver transplant when I was 13, I had a litany of art mediums and crafts that I loved.
Now that I'm a grown-up (sort of haha) jewelry is still a passion of mine. I think of it as art that you can carry with you everyday and everywhere. I love making jewelry that reflects the uniqueness of every person I've met and every place I've been.
Pressing flowers is something I started to do as a young girl. In art school, I realized I could use these beautiful cast offs from nature to create all different kinds of art.
I've also been obsessed with paper crafts my whole life. I've amassed a lot of stamps and I have even started to create my own. I love journals and handmade books. The smell of paper is just wonderful. So I have started to make my own journals, stationery and other paper products like coloring books.
If something in my shop sparks an idea in your mind and has got you thinking about a custom piece please don't hesitate to send me a message.
