I have always been a tinkerer, fixing stuff, making stuff, an endless list of things to do. Practicing as a psychotherapist is one of the most rewarding things that I have ever done, but it does mean that I have to spend a portion of time every day working on my own mental health. Part of that work is painting and making things with my hands,

I have been making and selling items to various markets for a while now but it was only when I began to practice as a therapist that I really came to understand that the making of things gave my mind a measure of peace that I didn't get in other activities. Recently, as my practice has grown, I have seen more and more clients coming to therapy who cannot afford to pay a full fee so I decided that I would lodge any proceeds from selling my art into my practice which will hopefully allow me to provide more affordable and low-cost appointments to people who need them.
