Hi there! I'm so glad you've found your way to my little corner of Etsy. My name is VeLora, and I'm an elementary school teacher, mom, and digital creator who believes that beautiful, functional resources shouldn't break the bank.
My Story
My journey into digital design began in the quiet hours of 2023, shortly after we welcomed our precious newborn son through adoption. As any new parent knows, those late-night feeding sessions can feel endless, and with a sleeping baby in my arms, my usual hobbies of crocheting and reading weren't exactly practical in the dark!
So I turned to Canva and started creating – just for fun at first. What began as a way to pass those peaceful midnight moments soon blossomed into something much more meaningful. Each design I created felt like a small accomplishment during those sleep-deprived early days of parenthood.
Why I Do What I Do
As an elementary teacher at a Title I school, I see firsthand how much educators invest in their classrooms – often out of their own pockets. I know the struggle of wanting to create an inspiring learning environment while working within tight budget constraints. That's why every product in my shop is designed with affordability in mind. I'm not trying to get rich – I've simply turned a new hobby into a small side hustle that helps fellow teachers and parents create beautiful spaces without the financial stress.
The "extra coffee money" (as I like to call it) that my shop generates has become so much more than caffeine fuel. It's helping my husband and me as we begin the beautiful, costly journey toward a second domestic adoption. Every download purchased helps bring us one step closer to expanding our family.
