Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the protections in place when you shop at The Digital Briefcase.

OUR CORE COMMITMENT
We do not sell, rent, lease, trade, share, or otherwise distribute your personal information to any third party for marketing, advertising, profiling, or commercial purposes. The information you share with us is used solely to fulfill your order, respond to your questions, and meet our legal obligations as a seller.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you purchase from us, Etsy provides limited information necessary to complete your order, including your Etsy username, email address, and order details. We may also receive any messages or notes you choose to send us through Etsy.

INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT
We never request, collect, or store full credit card numbers, banking details, Social Security numbers, government IDs, dates of birth, or other sensitive personal information. All payment processing is handled securely by Etsy. We have no access to your payment card or financial account information at any time.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
Your information is used only to:
- Deliver your digital downloads and confirm your order
- Respond to your questions and provide customer support
- Maintain the sales records required by tax law and Etsy seller policies
- Improve our shop in aggregate, anonymized ways

WHO HAS ACCESS
Only the shop owner has access to your information. We do not share customer data with third parties, except where required by law (such as a valid court order or subpoena) or where necessary to complete a transaction you have initiated through Etsy.

NO SALE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
The Digital Briefcase does not sell personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), or any similar state, federal, or international privacy law. We have not sold personal information in the past twelve months and have no intention of doing so.

DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
We store communications and order records in secure, password-protected systems and use encrypted connections (HTTPS) where supported. We retain order records for the period required by tax and recordkeeping law, and customer messages for up to two years after the last contact.

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California), or similar state laws, including the right to:
- Request access to the information we have about you
- Request correction or deletion of that information
- Opt out of any future communications
- Receive a copy of your information in a portable format

CHILDREN AND ADULT CONTENT
This shop is not intended for children. Some products are designed for adult audiences and require purchasers to be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction.

We may update this policy from time to time. The most recent version will always be posted in our Etsy shop policies and at thedigitalbriefcase.shop.
