My name is Devin Masga. I’m from San Francisco and currently reside in Brooklyn, New York. Photography is essentially my calling, my passion, and my desire for a long term profession. It’s the thing that will undoubtedly drive me insane someday, though I would hope not. I don’t photograph subjects. I photograph the way an image moves and makes me feel. Admittedly, it’s a bit of a strange concept. But it’s honest – and it’s the best way to describe my approach to the craft. I wrestle with every image I shoot. I assume perfection is possible and I want to bring it out of every picture. My Goal is to one day become a traveling photographer and shoot and capture world events as they unfold. I am not sure which came first, being nosey or an interest in ‘street photography’, but a fascination with people and the way they live their lives is why I enjoy the streets so much.
