Craft Loving Flight Attendant to Business owning Calligrapher and Watercolorist
WELCOME to Dip Script and Watercolor! I'm so glad you stopped in.
This shop was actually started in college in 2011 when crochet headbands with flowers on them were huge. I (Mary Beth) sold hundreds of them to students and thought I'd try listing them on here, only to realize my college Market was keeping me busy enough and I didn't have the time to manage Etsy.
Flash forward to 2020: After being urged by lovers of my watercolor florals and calligraphy work to open a shop, I finally did. (not realizing I should have created a new shop, I just edited the old one I had made back in 2011 and renamed it ) I am a flight attendant who flies a few times a week and manages Dip Script and Watercolor on the off days. This little business is my creative passion. I have used my script and lettering for many pieces wedding related (ie. place cards, envelope addressing, signage, and even custom invitations and suites) I incorporate watercolors to these pieces when wanted but use them for custom work as well (I've done quite a few watercolor commissions of homes, people, animals, and flowers of course). Outside of art I love people, travel, dancing, being active in general, and all things floral. I don't bore easily and like to stay busy.
