Science Explorers began in 1993 as one teacher’s dream to help children develop their creativity and problem-solving skills through science. Nearly 30 years later, we are excited to announce Discovery Explorers – our new line of STEM kits that will bring our hands-on, science fun lessons into the comfort and convenience of your home.

Guided by our philosophy that children are naturally drawn to the magical qualities of science, each kit is designed to excite the young scientist while teaching them basic principles of STEM and further developing their motor and critical thinking skills. Each kit is individually packaged in our Minneapolis office and comes with both a detailed activity guide and materials you will need to conduct the activity.

Through our Discovery Explorers line, we are presenting to you the best of the best. Each kit is based off a lesson that has been taught to thousands of Minnesota students and families over our 30 years in education. They are our fan favorites! We use materials that have proved reliable in our classes and explain the science behind each experiment in ways all young scientists (and parent scientists) can understand. One of the benefits of our at-home STEM kits is you and your young scientist can conduct the experiment at your own pace and modify the experiment to meet your child’s learning level. Fostering this type of learning environment encourages children to explore the wonders of science in ways they may not have before. Our Discovery Explorers kits are perfect for classrooms, birthday parties, at-home schooling, Boy and Girl scout badges, or just a rainy day!
