Vintage is in my blood I love it , I am an artist that sees beautify in everything
My mother started me on my love for anything old and with character from the time I was a young girl. She was the original picker..this was back in the late 60's. Before antiques, old things and pickers became popular. She taught me the love for old things and my father he was an artist. So I also love to make things, paint and re purpose...it will always make me feel close to them even though they are both gone.
Since my collections started so early in life and I have never stopped adding to them I had to start weeding them out. I don't allow myself to bring in anything unless something else goes. Through Etsy I can make sure my babies have a new home and I have an excuse to buy more!! I love nothing more than to hit the garage sales early with my cup of coffee and my dog little dude.
I have a craft room as well as my background in design and art never leaves me without a project in my head! As I work I am surrounded by my three cats little girl, big guy and kitten---I know original names right?
