Distinguished Primate is a small, veteran-owned beard oil company in Buford, Georgia. It's me and my daughters.
I'm a US military veteran, and this business is something I'm building with my girls. They're learning it alongside me, from the bench to the bottle, and they'll take on more of it as they grow. When you order from us, you're supporting a family, not a warehouse.
We make beard oil the slow way: in small batches, with short ingredient lists you can actually pronounce. Every oil starts from the same base of sweet almond, jojoba, certified-organic argan and vitamin E. Each scent gets tested at the bench until it's right, and it's built to be noticed at conversation distance, not announced across the room. Every bottle is batch-numbered and dated by hand. Our beard oils are vegan, and everything we make is cruelty-free.
Every oil is a member of the Distinguished Primate Members' Club, and each has its own character on the label: The Foreman (unscented), The Barrister (cedarwood) and The Rapscallion (bay rum), with more members on the way.
Some of us evolved. All of us kept the beard.
