I learned to knit back in 2008/9, making my dad a tom baker scarf, and spent a lot of time in small towns where I had plenty of time to experiment with the art. I love making slightly quirky things, geek chic for anyone, and taking commissions.

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

Size and color is easy enough to change. Size may change the price a little, up or down accordingly.
Fiber type can be changed (like using wool instead of acrylic) however I currently only have access to acrylic locally. Using wool, cotton or other fiber will add more time to my processing since I have to order it.

I also take pure commissions - feel free to contact me with your ideas.

Sizing details

Mittens and hats I try to offer in a couple sizes - based on American sizing standards.
Most other things wont have a size.

If dimensions are a factor they are usually listed in the description.

Care instructions

It is highly recommended that you simply spot wash or hand wash all knit items to preserve the stitching.

Color Options

Colors will always be subject to manufacturer availability.

I provide pallets where appropriate to make things a little easier for both of us, colors may vary slightly depending on ones screen and dye lots.

Fiber types

Unfortunately my local yarn shop has closed and my only local access to yarn now is from chain stores which is generally only acrylic so while I prefer to work with something like merino wool, as of 2018 most of my work will be done with acrylic by default unless other wise stated. Some of my one of a kind items (such as the wicked lady or kitana scarf) are done with "indie dyed' yarn which is often a wool/nylon/acrylic blend. I buy such yarn if something catches my eye and I have the funds to do so.

I will happily make things in merino, wool, alpaca, cotton but I will have to order such yarn which can sadly take a decent amount of time to arrive (up to two weeks from some sources).
