I've come out of Etsy retirement for the month of November. I am asked each November about "The Many Names of Christ" advent plan I wrote a few years ago for my boys. So, after some edits I've opened up shop to make it available. My hope from the very beginning of writing this advent plan, in these hard and messy days that we are living in, may we remember who are Savior was and is! I'm not a professional author or artist, I just LOVE Jesus and wanted to share with my children a story that goes beyond the manger and the tomb!

DoBee Designs began as a stay at home mum's attempt to stay sane and to make a difference in the lives of women around the world one button at a time.

I'm Sara. Mum to two boys and wife to a stellar bloke. As you can see I'm surrounded by testosterone, so the need to make things pretty was bound to happen. I create every DoBee in hopes that you or someone you love will enjoy a touch of simple, handmade beauty. I also hope that each time you wear it you will be reminded that there is a woman in another part of the world that has benefited from your purchase.

I know fabric buttons won't save the world, but I do believe that even the smallest desire to give to others who are less fortunate makes a big difference in the lives of those receiving.

So why the name DoBee Designs?

My grampy was the only soul on this planet who called me DoBee, and I so miss it. Now I see it and hear it on a daily basis and it makes my heart so very happy. So in his awesome memory, I launched DoBee Designs on FB May 4,2013 and DoBee Designs on Etsy on May 6,2013.

Returns and exchanges
• Will I accept returns, and will I reimburse buyers for return shipping costs?
I do not accept returns as most items I sell are personalized. I have also stated that due to the nature of hand stamping not all items will be the same and will vary from the photos shown. I do however want you to be 100% happy with the product, and I do my best to provide this level of customer service to you during the process of making your order so refunds or exchanges are hopefully not an issue! Please contact me with any concerns or questions.

• What if my product is damaged when it arrives?
Please contact me so that we can discuss the damage and come up with a solution.
Payment
• When do you start making my items?
Once you pay, your order goes into production.
• Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order within 12 hours of payment. Please keep in mind as soon as your item is purchased I begin the production process hoping to have it out to you as soon as possible.
Shipping
SHIPPING POLICIES:
• Will I offer insurance on all packages, or only some?

All domestic packages are shipped US First Class mail with a tracking number but does not include insurance. If you would like to insure your order please contact me. International packages are shipped first class without insurance to keep shipping prices as reasonable as possible for international customers. If you are an international customer and would like me to price out priority shipping with insurance for you, I can do so – please ask before purchasing and I’ll create a custom listing for you with the updated shipping. Please also keep in mind the priority mail option for international orders is often double the price of international shipping. Message me if you’d like me to calculate it for you and help you make your decision!

• What will I do when items are lost or damaged in the mail?

DOMESTIC ORDERS:
If an item is lost in the mail, I first ask that you check the address the package was sent to. All domestic orders have a tracking number and you and I can both use Etsy to track the package location. In the past customers have accidentally used an old address and forgot to update. If this is the case, you’ll need to purchase a replacement item. If your domestic item was truly lost in the mail or damaged, I will fill out an insurance claim for the package and work with you to figure out an alternative.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
I use USPS first class international mail to save shipping costs for my international buyers. The cost of shipping first class international is about half of the price of shipping priority mail. Because of this, I am not responsible for any lost or damaged products. If you would like insurance on your package, I can ship priority mail for you – however you need to let me know this BEFORE you purchase your item(s) so I can create a custom listing with the more expensive shipping option. Please message me with any questions about this. I love my international customers and want to send you items you love, and my decision to not purchase insurance mail is only because it is so expensive for you! If you purchase additional insurance for your items I will file a claim and send a replacement product. If you did not, contact me and we’ll see if there are any possible alternatives.

• What mail providers do I use? What shipping methods do I offer, and what are their average shipping times?

I exclusively use USPS and ship all domestic orders First Class mail which ranges from 3 to 5 days and USPS First Class International Mail which ranges from 14-20 days.

• Will I offer expedited shipping?
If you need a package sooner than the estimated shipping dates, first please ask me about the estimated completion date on the product, then if expedited shipping is needed I can certainly do this but will create a custom listing for you with the calculated expedited shipping. Expedited shipping for domestic orders will not be much faster than the standard first class mail (3 to 5 days) – however international mail can be expedited and come much quicker, it is of course very expensive. So talk to me before purchasing so we can figure out if it’s worth it for you!

• Will I ship internationally?
Yes, I ship internationally. But please be aware that shipping internationally poses more risks than shipping domestically. I cannot guarantee an exact delivery date and because I use USPS exclusively, the tracking system does not allow me to see any type of activity after leaving the United States. To keep costs down for my international buyers I do not purchase insurance, if you’re interested in insurance please message me for a calculation of what this would cost before purchasing.

• Will I ever offer free shipping?
I will never offer free shipping only because I mark my prices as reasonable as possible to provide a good quality and affordable product to you. Shipping is actually the most expensive part of my creation and design process!

GENERAL POLICIES
• What are my processing times?

All items are made to order and will take a maximum of 1 – 2 weeks depending on how busy my shop it. I can often get these out to you sooner, but I cannot guarantee a date before your estimated shipping date of 1 – 2 weeks unless you contact me PRIOR to purchasing. I’m certainly willing to help rush orders to get them to you in time, most of the time this won’t incur an extra charge if my workload can handle it, but dependent upon the situation and timing this request may incur a rush fee. Again, please ask me about your date and let me know where you are located before you purchase the items.

• Will my items look EXACTLY like the pictures?
My goal is to recreate the item as show in the photo but due to the nature of hand stamping I cannot guarantee each item to look exactly as the item shown. I think that’s the beauty of metal stamping, each piece is unique and I promise made with care and from the heart!

• Do I accept custom orders?
I’m happy to accept custom orders and really enjoy working with you to create a unique piece of hand stamped beauty. At this time only stamp aluminum and this allows me to keep the cost affordable for you to purchase meaningful and personalized gifts. For example my slender bracelets stamped in sterling silver would cost you roughly $50 + by stamping aluminum I can offer them to you at just $13.

• How do I care for your DoBee items?
As with most metals there may be some tarnishing. A soft silver cleaning cloth just do the trick. Please avoid wearing in water.
